Early Strength Enhancing Calcium Alumino Silicate Hydrate Nano Seeds Admixture

ART-CASH is a proprietary early strength-enhancing nano seeds admixture independently developed by ARIT. Compared with traditional inorganic salts and alkanolamine-based accelerators, ART-CASH delivers a markedly stronger early-strength effect and show superior compatibility with cementitious materials. The nuclei trigger cement hydration, lower the activation energy of the reaction, accelerate the hydration rate, promote rapid strength development during the hardening period, and significantly boost the 24-hour strength of concrete.

Application Case

Metro segment concrete

A C50 metro-segment plant adopted ART-CASH as an early-strength agent,sharply reducing the slump sensitivity of the mix and securing the required handling window while the concrete entered its hydration-acceleration phase. An 8-hour compressive strength of 20 MPa was achieved, mold turnover was increased by more than 50 %, steam-curing time was cut by 150 min, and strength at every hydration age is markedly increased.

Low-temperature placement

On a Nanjing site, C30 concrete was placed at 3℃ . After adding 3.0 % ART-CASH, setting time dropped from 12h to 8h and the 1-day compressive strength reached 14.5 MPa—more than 50 % higher than the reference mix.

Prefabricated construction

A northern precast-component producer adopted ART-CASH nucleation-type early-strength agent to raise output and cut costs. Mold-turnover efficiency improved by 50%, andwhen combined with ART-RD180 polycarboxylate superplasticizer the steam-curing step was eliminated entirely, eradicating the energy demand.

Self-compacting concrete

A Guangzhou railway project specified C40 SCC with ≥ 15MPa at 10h (summer, w/b 0.36). Byadding ART-CASH nucleation accelerator, T500 = 2.3S and V-funnel time =7.7S were achieved; the surface remained pore-and bubble-free, and mold turnover rose 30 %.

Usage Instructions

The recommended effective solids content is 1.00 % – 5.00% of the total cementitious materials; the exact dosage must be predetermined through trial tests according to the raw materials, job-site conditions, construction codes, and technical requirements.
Any change in materials or environmental conditions may also cause the dosage to vary within a certain range, so new tests are required to re-establish the optimum dosage.

Storage

It should be stored in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and kept in a dedicated warehouse or a fixed location.
The effective storage period is 1year. It can still be used after being tested and verified to be qualified if it exceeds the time limit.
When changing the type of cement or using newly delivered cement, a compatibility test should be conducted.
Do not use in combination with naphthalene-based admixtures. When using in combination with other admixtures, compatibility tests should be performed.
