Bridge Prestressed Duct Grouting Project
For a high-speed railway bridge in Jiangsu, ART-MYJ grout was used to fill the prestressed ducts. The grout showed high fluidity, stability and pumpability, flowing easily through intricate ducts and meeting the strict quality and process-control demands of high-speed railway bridges. Field inspection and testing confirmed full, dense filling with no visible voids or segregation, ensuring complete coverage and long-term protection of the prestressing strands.
Water-to-powder ratio
Recommended ratio 0.26–0.28; fine-tune for the specific grouting zone.
Mixing
Pour 80 – 90% of the batch water into the mixer, start the machine (forced-action type, ≥ 1000 r/min), and add the full amount of grout powder steadily while mixing. After the last powder is in, mix at high speed for 3 min, add the remaining 10 – 20 % water, then mix 2 min more.
Continuous mixing
Keep the grout agitated both before use and throughout the injection to preserve uniformity and flow.
Injection window
From end of mixing to completion of injection, limit the elapsed time to 30 – 60 min depending on ambient temperature.
Equipment
Use a piston-type or vacuum pump; maintain pressure above 0.7 MPa.
Grout temperature
Keep the grout between 5 °C and 30 °C during injection; take corrective action if outside this range.

It should be stored in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight, and kept in a dedicated warehouse or a fixed location.
The effective storage period is 6 months. It can still be used after being tested and verified to be qualified if it exceeds the time limit.
