After using the six types of cement from the project site, all of them exhibited bleeding water. Among them, the bleeding water condition of Conch cement and Shanshui cement was slightly better than that of the other cements. The main reasons are analyzed as follows: the on-site binding materials (fly ash, cement) and sand particles are relatively coarse, and the overall raw materials are relatively clean.
The phenomenon of post-pour bleeding in concrete is an extremely challenging technical issue. It requires a comprehensive consideration of various factors, such as whether the composition of the cement complies with the regulations, as well as the silt content of the sand and gravel.
Firstly, ARIT tried to match through the conventional formula and found that the concrete had the problem of post-pour bleeding. It first tested the six types of cement used on the site and selected the one with less bleeding water. Then, by adjusting the admixture formula, it chose a superplasticizer that releases more quickly, increased the air content, and finally solved the bleeding problem.
