Background

The bearing is the key structural element that transfers loads from the superstructure to the substructure. To ensure uniform load transmission between the bearing and the bearing pad stone, and to adjust the elevation of the superstructure deck, a 25–40 mm thick grout layer is required between the bearing base plate and the bearing pad stone. The construction quality of this grout layer directly affects the performance of the bearing and the safety of the superstructure. As bridge spans increase, bearing cross-sections become larger, leading to greater demand for grout materials and longer construction periods, making it increasingly difficult to guarantee the quality of the bearing grout layer.

ART-MZGJ is formulated using high-strength materials as aggregate, cement as binder, and supplemented with high fluidity, micro-expansion, and anti-segregation additives. It is easy to use on-site—simply mix with a specified amount of water and stir evenly. The grout features excellent self-leveling, rapid hardening, early strength, high ultimate strength, zero shrinkage, and slight expansion. It is non-toxic, harmless, non-aging, and environmentally friendly, with good self-compacting properties. The material offers reliable quality, shortens construction time, and is convenient to use.
